The chaplaincy ministry includes the following ministries, mutual discipleship within the chaplaincy, ministry to BHUTH staff, ministry to patients and their relations, ministry to Bingham University medical students, chapel ministry which involves worship service, evangelism outreaches, providing welfare services, special prayers, counselling services, distribution of Christian literature, premarital testing and counselling to the public, media (audio and video)ministry, chapel music and finances, and chapel visitation

 Rev. Chom-Chai is married to Deborah Magit for over 29 years as at date, and are blessed with five children, Mann(son), Comfort(daughter), Mary(daughter), Moses (son), and Chen(daughter). He is Aten by tribe from Ganawuri chiefdom of Riyom Local Government Council, Plateau State of Nigeria
He is an ordained minister (Sept. 2004) of the Gospel working with ECWA since 1999, and have ministered as elder (1993 to 1997), pastored five (5) churches (1999- 2015), elected to various levels of leadership as LCC Secretary to DCC Vice Chairman (2006 to 2013), and have been member, secretary and chairman of various church committees at DCC level charged with task to organize DCC Pastors and wives Retreats, DCC Christmas Service, DCC Debt Collections from LCBs, Fraud investigations and accounts reconciliations, among other assignments. He has been involve in organizing outreaches at various levels of ECWA
Rev. Chom-Chai holds a Th M degree in intercultural Studies (Sept. 2016, Fuller Theological Seminary, USA); an MA degree in Missiological Studies (JETS, Dec. 2008); a Bachelor of Divinity Degree (May, 2000 TCNN); an HND in Business Admin. & Mgt. (Bida Polytechnic,July 1983), Accredited Member, Institute of Management Consultants, Kaduna(March, 1996); Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Bankers (January 1994); and WASC 1978
